Crayonograph Book explores how an image changes as it moves through different graphic mediums. The publication presents 160 works produced by Fraser Muggeridge studio over the last 15 years, each crayoned by Abbie Freeman.

Partly inspired by the 1966 Crosby, Fletcher, and Forbes article “A Book of Matches” in Typographica 14, the project considers how a simple graphic form can generate many variations within a defined visual limitation.

This edition looks at Fraser Muggeridge studio’s body of work through a graphic crayon lens. The transformation gives the works a different emotional and visual register, inviting close attention to process, repetition, and interpretation.

Crayonograph Book includes concept and design by Fraser Muggeridge, crayon work by Abbie Freeman, and 160 works spanning 15 years of studio practice.
