IBM Research Book is a publication by Actual Source, IBM, and photographer Cait Oppermann. It features photographs made at IBM Research facilities in Almaden, California; Yorktown, New York; and Zurich, Switzerland between 2018 and 2024.

Oppermann’s photographs document the people and projects that make IBM Research an incubator for innovation. The publication continues IBM’s history of collaboration with artists, designers, and thinkers including Paul Rand, Charles and Ray Eames, and Ansel Adams.

Published by Actual Source in collaboration with Flowers and IBM, the 200-page edition uses Scotch Modern Micro typography and is printed on Magno Volume and Holmen TRND paper.
