INNEN × efflorescence: VIRGIL ABLOH™ Art Zine | GROUNDFLOOR

efflorescence, a limited-edition Virgil Abloh™ art publication Efflorescence is a rare document of Virgil Abloh’s sculptural practice, captured inside the spray booth before the work was finished. Published by INNEN as a limited edition of 500, the publication presents black and white photographs made in Abloh’s studio. The images trace the making of large-scale sculptural furniture pieces, showing raw materials, industrial forms, and the quiet monumentality of work in progress. It is one of the few publications to document Abloh’s three-dimensional practice up close, offering a focused view of a side of his work that is less commonly seen. The publication measures 13 × 19 cm and includes 28 pages printed with black and white offset printing. Its compact format gives the photographs room to function as a considered visual record while making the edition easy to collect and place within a library of contemporary art publications. Efflorescence connects sculpture, furniture, photography, design, and independent publishing in a concise limited edition. It is a strong piece for collectors and readers interested in Virgil Abloh™, studio process, and the physical making of objects.
